Welcome

You’ve arrived at a space created just for you—a space to breathe, to reflect, and to begin again.

Every journey begins with an invitation—not to rush,
not to perform,

but to pause and to be present.

Before anything else…
we start here:

The Power of Why

Research shows:

  • 91% of people who connect their goals to a clear “why” are more likely to follow through.

  • When emotion and meaning are attached to a decision, the brain processes it more deeply—making growth more lasting

As an educator, I’ve learned that the most meaningful journeys don’t begin with what or how…they begin with why. Because your why carries you beyond:

  • convenience

  • skill

  • obligation

  • and the fear of necessity

It anchors you in something deeper, and it matters more than we often realize.

Your why is what:

  • keeps you grounded when things feel heavy

  • brings clarity when your mind feels scattered

  • strengthens your connection to the journey

  • and helps you persevere when consistency feels hard

If I’m honest, the power of why is something I’ve had to learn in a very real way. There have been seasons where I started strong, clear, motivated, and full of vision but somewhere along the way, I lost consistency. My receipts in these seasons are undeniable—the resources and content I created but never fully released, the systems I carefully built yet allowed to sit in the name of perfection, and the quiet delays in my own personal growth and healing.

When I look back, I can see clearly now that my struggle didn’t come because I didn’t care or didn’t believe;

it came because life got heavy.

Time felt limited.

Energy depleted.

Emotions? Overwhelming.

In those moments, momentum—though most visible—wasn’t the first thing I lost.

I lost sight of my why.

I forgot why I started.
I forgot why I needed to keep going.
I forgot why reaching the finish line mattered.

Still, I can look back and see mountains I’ve climbed that once felt insurmountable, and I can say this with confidence:

In moments where fear could have stopped me…purpose prevailed.

What you’re reading right now is the result of two years of learning how to keep climbing—of choosing purpose, again and again, even when it wasn’t easy.

Through this journey, I’ve learned:

Comfort is easy, but it no longer serves me.

Invisibility feels safer, but it limits purpose and growth.

Walking in purpose—glorifying God with my life and my work—is not the easiest path…

but it is worth it.

As a woman who has wrestled with doubt, pressure, and the desire to have it all together,
I know the weight and tension of falling apart
while still trying to hold everything together—

with my business
with my family
with my own life

And yet, I’ve come to realize this:

Even broken pieces can become something beautiful
in the hands of the Master.

That’s why The Reflection Room exists—
so that we can have a place to reflect on the pages of our lives—no matter how torn or worn—

and still be reminded that:

our stories are still being written,

God sees every piece,

He has carried us through every page,

and

nothing in our lives is wasted in His hands, so

start where you are,

take your time here, and

return when you need to.
